Snow and pics

A couple of weeks ago we had about 12 inches of snow! Which is the most I've ever seen in Texas! Natalie is doing great! She is such a bundle of joy. She is laughing, "talking", and getting stronger every day.

Baby Natalie is Here!

On Tuesday November 3, 2009 I had been having a lot of contractions that day but just thought they were braxton hicks again. Then around 6:00 we really started timing them and around 9:00 they were 3-5 minutes apart so we decided to head the hospital. When we got there they admitted us and were in shock that I was not going to have an epidural. There was one nurse there that had had 4 kids naturally and she was very helpful throughout the whole labor and delivery. I will spare you all the details, of the labor and delivery, I'll just say it was a long night. Natalie was born November 4, 2009 at 6:28 am, she weighed 8 pounds 2 ounces and was 20.5 inches long. We have been home from the hospital for a week and are slowly all getting adjusted. I am so grateful for help from family and friends, I feel so blessed. Here are some pics:

New Changing Table

Yes I am still pregnant and am anxiously waiting baby Natalie's arrival. It honestly feels like it will never happen. We really appreciate your prayer in this area as we anxiously await her arrival. Our due date is October 28th this Wednesday and if she hasn't come by then we are scheduled for another sonogram to make sure everything is ok with the baby on our due date. My doctor said we will talk about inducing if it's been one week after my due date and she hasn't come. I really don't want that to happen. So we will keep ya'll updated. Thanks!

Soon after we found out we were pregnant, Jonathan decided he wanted to build a changing table for our new baby. We looked in pottery barn catalogs and online and found one we liked a lot. Jonathan then began working on the changing table and to be honest I think it's better than pottery barn! =) The changing pad and rail on top can come off so it will also make a great toy/book shelf for our kids in the future. Here are a few pictures of the changing table:
